Dive Trips (Every Day)
Phuket has an amazing diversity of places suitable for various types of diving. There are places for all levels of divers and to suit all tastes from beach dives to wreck and wall dives. Racha Yai is the best for beginners and diving-courses, while Racha Noi better for more experienced divers – it’s not uncommon to find Manta rays there. Shark Point & Anemone Reef offer leopard sharks and colourful soft corals. The King Cruiser Wreck – big, full of sea creatures and fantastical landscapes.
2 Dive Boat Trip.
Racha Yai (2 dives) – Return 3pm.
3 Dive Boat Trip.
Racha Noi (2 dives) and Racha Yai (1 dive) Islands – Return 17.00.
Phi Phi Islands (2 dives) and Shark Point / Anemone Reef / Koh Dok Mai (1 dive) – Return 18.00.
King Cruiser (1 dive), Shark Point (1 dive) and Koh Doc Mai (1 dive) – Return 16.30
Your adventure day will start in the morning 7.15 – 8.00 when you will be transferred by bus to Chalong pier. There you will be met with our instructors and escorted to the large, comfortable vessel.
After a breakfast you will be ready to make your first dive into this charming underwater world! During the surface interval after first dive we offer you lunch – a buffet with plenty of food.
After lunch you will be ready for your second dive of the day. On the 2-dive trip the boat will return to Chalong pier – around 15.00 from Racha Yai. On the 3-dive trip the vessel will go to the final dive site – between 15.00-15.30.
Phuket has awesome marine life, from the large Pelagics, like the Manta Ray and Whaleshark, which have been seen very regularly.
To the smaller sea creatures like Harlequin Ghost Pipefish, Tigertail Seahorses, Green Turtles, Leopard Sharks, Eels and Black Tip Reef Sharks are being seen with much more frequency too.
As usual in Indian Ocean you can found here: where Coral Reefs Snakes flutter by, Huge Moray Eels look of the caves at divers, large schools of Mackerels and Barracudas go out hunting and seldom return home hungry.
Macro diving here is another great way to get some fantastic photos of Nudibranchs and Flatworms, Brittlestars, Featherstars, Cleaner Shrimp and Duban Dancing and Boxer, Seahorses, Jens Pipefish, Spiny Lobsters the list is endless.
CLIMATE AND SEASON OF DIVING AT PHUKET
The average temperature of air in Phuket – 28’C and temperature of water – 27’C. The period from November to May is the best season for diving at Phuket due to the calm sea conditions and limited rainfalls.
From end of May to October, the monsoons sweeps through the area resulting in strong winds and rainfall. However, most dive sites available even during the rain season, thanks to the fact that they are largely sheltered from the wind.
Fun-diving is available to certified divers.
